The Citizen Room, by Paula da Silva Seiça, is a showroom committed to representing various boutique international fashion designers with a focus on Portugal. As direct importers, The Citizen Room offers the latest in fashion, jewellery design and lifestyle pieces For the buyer seeking limited collections, one of a kind pieces and the unexpected in a often predictable fashion world.

"Nourish what's in your mind and with persistence and love, your intention will became factual before you even expect", Paula SeiÇa. 

It all started in a small town in Portugal.

A record player, some fabric from the town market and a teenager with a love for fashion.

Despite never formally studying fashion design, Paula Seiça knew she wanted to eventually create her own brand and certainly open a boutique featuring the designers she admired.

Encouraged by her love ones, in 2012 Paula opened her first shop in Toronto Canada's fashion district, The Citizen Room.

With a passion for showcasing some of the best of what is created in Portugal as well as young talents from around the world, in 2019 a second milestone in Paula's journey was met... Being a part of a New York City collective boutique in SOHO, Flying Solo.

With two physical locations, many flights to and from Portugal and very few hours of sleep per night, Paula finally created her own brand... Evangelista.
